G.O.: Yes your son can have his own equipment...what happens is you "donate" the equipment to Grand at the beginning of the season. We validate that it meets safety requirements. At the end of the season we give it back to you. I believe it is for legal reasons that we have to have the equipment given to us...you always keep the equipment except for the time where we ensure it meets the safety standards. Diana: Cheer starts at the same age as Pop Warner Football. Flag cheer starts at age 5 and goes through Jr. High. Hope that helps!

I have a question about what are the age groups for flag football? I am looking at registering two of my boys but they have never played on a league before. I could not find anywhere on the website that explained the age groups or weight requirements for tackle or flag.
